Back Blasts
Back blasts are a written record of what happened at various beat downs. These are written by the Q of that particular workout for the purpose of:
Inspiring and challenging other PAX.
Serving as a mini-monument to men accomplishing hard things, together.
Tracking attendance for each PAX.
To enter a back blast, follow the steps:
Search “back blast” in the Slack search bar, and click on “Create Back Blast F3 Nation”
If you signed up for a Q through the calendar, it will automatically populate. If not you can use the “New Unscheduled Event”. This is also an option if you are posting a Black Ops, downrange and they didn’t enter your attendance, or ran a CSAUP.
Fill in the fields and hit Submit in the top right corner. It will automatically post to the Back Blasts channel.
The PAX are everyone in this Slack workspace that attended. If you start typing, their F3 name should automatically populate.
PAX not in this Slack Space is mostly for downrange PAX, which will automatically populate with their F3 name and home region in parenthesis. This will count their attendance from anywhere in the world!
Untaggable PAX are for people that don’t have a Slack account at all. It is usually used for kids that don’t have Slack accounts. This field will add to the total number of PAX for the Q and AO record, but will not track that individual F3 name in PAX Vault.
Total PAX count fills in automatically based on the above fields. If you want to override the automatic count this is where to do it.
The Moleskine is where you log what the workout included. If you want to pre-type this while planning the Q, you can copy and paste it in here. The subfields here are listed below, but feel free to modify as desired.
